The ‘Adarsh Ganeshotsav Campaign’ was implemented at various places in Pune district by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. This campaign was implemented with the aim of preventing malpractices during festivals, preventing desecration of Shri Ganesh, and ensuring the sanctification and worship of the Ganesh murti is as prescribed in the scriptures.
