Love driving but find the idea of sharing a live circuit daunting? We completely get it. Taking that first step can be intimidating. That’s why we’ve partnered with Castle Combe Circuit to create a safe, highly structured environment focused entirely on building your confidence and developing your skills.
Before the day, Castle Combe and PistonHeads will send you comprehensive guidance on what to expect, what to pack, and how to prep your car, ensuring you roll into the paddock feeling ready to go. Spaces are available to book now on the Castle Combe website.
What To Expect:
We split the day into a structured, instruction-heavy morning and a flexible, open-session afternoon to give you the best possible introduction to circuit driving.
-
07:30 – Arrival & Sign-On: Get here early for noise testing and admin. Note: Arriving late eats into your track time!
-
08:15 – Extended Driver Briefing: An in-depth rundown covering the circuit layout, flag signals, track etiquette, and basic performance techniques (racing lines, braking, and vision).
-
09:00 to 12:00 – Structured Track Sessions: Head out in controlled groups of just 15 cars. You’ll start with two sighting laps to learn the track, followed by post-session instructor debriefs with personalised feedback.
-
12:00 to 13:30 – Lunch Break and Re-Brief: Catch your breath, grab some food, and attend a midday re-briefing to ensure you’re ready to go it alone.
-
13:30 to 17:00 – Open Pit Lane Sessions: Put everything into practice! Queue up when you are ready for flexible 15-minute sessions. We strictly cap the track at 15 cars at any time, giving you plenty of space.

You do not need a dedicated race car to enjoy this event. If your daily driver or weekend toy meets a few basic criteria, you are good to go.
-
Car Requirements: If it has four wheels, is up to MOT standard, and meets the circuit’s noise restrictions, you are welcome to join us.
-
Expert Instruction: Free instruction from ARDS-registered instructors is available throughout the entire day.
-
Trackside Support: The team from Regal Autosport – sponsors of the modified lawn at the 2026 PistonHeads Annual Service – will be on hand throughout the day to provide basic support and technical advice.
-
Additional Drivers: Want to share the experience? Extra drivers are welcome but must be booked online before the event (no on-the-day additions).
-
Photography: An official photographer will be trackside to capture your car in action. Photos will be available to purchase on the day or afterwards via Castle Combe Circuit Photos.
Ready to take to the tarmac? Book your space now on the Castle Combe website.
