Sora Aviation Lands £2.1M For eVTOL Innovation

Sora Aviation has secured £2.1M in UK Government funding via the ATI Programme to power two cutting-edge R&D projects. The Bristol-based team behind the 30-seat S-1 eVTOL aircraft is fast positioning itself as a major player in the electric aviation revolution.

They recently made the final of our Silicon Gorge competition, pitching at the Investor Showcase to a room full of potential backers as they continue to scale.

Pinkmans Bakery Improve Digital Presence With Tech For Growth

Pinkmans Bakery is levelling up its digital game, thanks to support from the Tech for Growth programme. Co-owner Ross Gibbens teamed up with marketing expert Rin Hamburgh to refine Pinkmans’ online presence and refresh their brand.

With a clear brand voice, new content pillars and a targeted social strategy, the bakery has seen a 15% boost in Instagram followers, doubled its mailing list and attracted new wholesale leads.

KuasaSemi Powers Up In The Semiconductor Space

Down in Cornwall, KuasaSemi is making waves in the global semiconductor industry. With support from Innovate UK Business Growth, they’ve expanded internationally, secured over £117K in funding, and grown their team from 2 to 7.

Their innovations in Wide Bandgap (WBG) semiconductors are fuelling progress in clean energy, EVs and computing.
