New Nicotine Brand 1N Launches Shoreditch Pop-Up with Biohacking and Neuroscience Events

A new nicotine brand, 1N, is opening a Shoreditch pop up space this January that blends biohacking, neuroscience, and contemporary lifestyle experiences, offering an alternative way to approach the start of the year.

The month long pop up, titled 1N Labs, transforms a Shoreditch venue into an interactive environment focused on experimentation, self-exploration, and modern rituals. Rather than promoting traditional detoxes or New Year resolutions, the space invites visitors to engage with installations, technology, and talks designed to reflect emerging cultural and wellness trends.

1N is set to launch its first products in early 2026, including flavoured soft and hard nicotine tabs. The Shoreditch pop up serves as an introduction to the brand’s wider philosophy and creative direction.

The brand was founded by Terry Seal, who said the idea emerged from a desire to challenge established perceptions of nicotine.

“Nicotine has a complex history,” says Terry. “People often view it through the lens of traditional smoking, which has shaped a lot of public perception. At 1N, our aim is to broaden the conversation by focusing on non combustion formats and considered use. We believe there’s room for a more modern, informed understanding of nicotine’s place in contemporary lifestyles.”

1N Labs runs from Wednesday to Sunday throughout January, operating as an open space where visitors can explore at their own pace. The programme includes interactive installations, hands on technology, and guest led sessions that examine how neuroscience, culture, and behaviour intersect in modern life.

The pop up features several stations and sensory zones, including:

  • A central counter where visitors can sample 1N’s flavoured soft and hard nicotine lozenges.
  • Complimentary drinks from BUTTER UP Coffee, known for its biohacking influenced blends.
  • Mood curated digital artwork with interactive projection displays.
  • Brain mapping installations that respond to movement and pattern.
  • Red light therapy, which is associated with recovery, energy, and performance.
  • Dedicated spaces for exploring ideas drawn from neuroscience, wellness subcultures, and ritual inspired practices.

The installations and experiences are presented independently of nicotine use and are not intended to demonstrate the effects of nicotine or promote the brand’s products directly.

At weekends, the space hosts Elevate, a free ticketed series featuring speakers from biohacking, neuroscience, mindset, and contemporary culture. Sessions take place on Saturdays and Sundays and have limited capacity.

The Elevate programme includes talks and guided experiences from:

  • Dave Asprey, who discusses the evolution of biohacking and approaches to personal optimisation in 2026
  • Francisco Texeira, who leads guided breathwork sessions blending neuroscience and shamanic techniques
  • Maya Raichoora, who shares mind training and visualisation techniques
  • Anil Seth, who explores how the brain constructs reality
  • Roxie Nafousi, who discusses mindset and personal transformation

Free tickets for Elevate sessions are available via the Eventbrite collection page.

The pop up is located at Spaces Unlocked, 118 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3PJ, close to Old Street Underground station and Shoreditch High Street Overground. It runs from 14 January 2026 to 6 February 2026, with the first Elevate weekend taking place on 11th January.

Attendance is strictly limited to those aged 18 and over, with age verification required.

1N originated in Berlin, where its founder identified a gap in the market for higher quality and more transparent nicotine products. Existing options were often described as overly strong and excessively sweet, leading to the brand’s guiding question, “Why compromise?”
