Apple is working on a new version of the Apple TV 4K, expected very soon. The device is expected to bring four major updates.
First of all, the new Apple TV will feature an A17 Pro chip. The current version – launched in late 2022 – uses an A15, but a more powerful chip is desired for future applications such as AI and heavier games.
Secondly, support for Apple Intelligence is expected. Apple is already extending AI to iPhones, iPads, Macs and even the Vision Pro, and the new Apple TV is rumouring to join it.

Apple is also reportedly coming with the new N1 wireless chip, which combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Thread. This chip is already being used in the iPhone 17 and may also be built into the Apple TV 4K.
Finally, there is speculation of a camera with Center Stage for video calling and gesture control. While this addition is less certain, there are already indications that Apple is considering this.
