REVIEW – About a year ago, I reviewed a portable mini blower/vac and really loved it. But as things generally happen around my house, things get borrowed, not put back, left where electronics should not be left, and are found quite some time later to discover they no longer work. I’m not pointing fingers, but I know who you are and where you sleep! Anyway, when the HRYCF portable mini car vacuum was offered for review, I wanted in to see if it was a suitable replacement. I have a need for both a mini vacuum and blower for maintenance of all my family’s devices, and it would be helpful to clean the car. Read on to see if the HRYCF portable mini vacuum is something that might interest you. I’m assuming it does if you’ve gotten this far.

Design and features
The most noticeable design feature of the HRYCF mini vac/blower is its size. It’s not the smallest when compared to the numerous options out there, but it certainly is conveniently small. It fits the hand well and would fit in most glove boxes. With the included bag, you can keep all the accessories at the ready.
The most important feature of the HRYCF mini vac/blower is the motor. It is brushless, meaning it uses solid-state electronics and sensors to switch the current to the stator coils to create a magnetic field, versus using physical brushes. This makes the motor more efficient, more powerful, and longer lasting. To use it, you just long-press the button to turn it on in low, then single-press through the other two modes and turn it off
This sucker (get it? You get it.) comes with a 6000 mAh Li-ON battery that HRYCF claims can provide up to 40 minutes of runtime, unless you’re using the maximum power level, which will get you about 15 minutes. It charges via the USB-C port on the bottom of the unit, although it doesn’t come with a charging block. You’ll need to provide your own charging source.
Finally, this little guy comes with tons of accessories. There’s the vacuum canister that comes with 2 washable, HEPA filters. There are a few different tubes, 1 for the vacuum canister and 2 for the blower. These allow you to get into tight spaces or direct the air flow more specifically. There are a few different brushes as well to help get into tight spaces, and one that helps to grab pet hair.
Performance
The HRYCF portable mini vac/blower does a pretty good job as a vacuum. To achieve the best results, I ran it at max power when vacuuming my car. I have a dog who likes to go for rides. He also likes to shed all over the cloth seats. This little attachment does a good job of grabbing them out of the cloth in order to suck them away.
Here are a couple of before and after shots of the driver’s side floorboard of my car. We all know floorboards are the dirtiest part of the car, unless, of course, you have small kids, then it’s up for grabs. As you can see, the HRYCF vacuum did a fine job of getting most of the grass, crepe myrtle leaves, and dirt. I did have to empty the canister a couple of times, but that’s to be expected. I will say the stated runtime at max power is pretty accurate. I did get about 15 to 20 minutes of operating time. That gave me enough time to get about half my car clean before having to recharge. The best thing, though, is I didn’t have to drag out my upright vac, find an extension cord, and wrestle with that damned hose to clean it.
I really like the blower feature. I’ve probably used this function the most. It’s great for blowing out PCs and keyboards. I even used it to blow dry my dog since the air isn’t hot like a hair dryer. I will say, though, this thing is loud! So was my other one. It’s just par for the course.
Final thoughts
The HRYCF portable mini car vacuum and blower is a fine device. There are tons of these devices on the market, but for the price, I think this one is worth considering. My previous one was about twice the asking price. So, if you’re in the market for one of these, I suggest taking a look at HRYCF’s offerings even if you can’t pronounce the company name.
What I like about the HRYCF portable mini car vacuum
- Small
- Portable
- Rechargeable
- Multiple use cases
What needs to be improved?
- Only if it weren’t so loud
- Longer runtime would be nice
