Hindu girl students were forced to remove their dupattas during Class 12 exams in Jalgaon, while others were allowed to sit wearing burqas and hijabs. The Hindu Rashtra Samanvay Samiti, along with devout Hindus protested against this discrimination, and submitted a memorandum to the College Principal and the District Collector.
