GPonline partners with Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2026

The Diabetes UK Professional Conference takes place from 22 to 24 April 2026 at the Exhibition Centre in  Liverpool.

This partnership will help connect more primary care professionals with the practical learning they need. By bringing together Diabetes UK and GPonline, MIMS and MIMS Learning, the collaboration aims to support frontline healthcare professionals with clear clinical updates and tools they can use immediately in their clinics.

The conference programme includes sessions highly relevant to primary care. Attendees can explore topics such as weight management, GLP-1 medicines, and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Alongside these clinical updates, delegates can earn up to 18 CPD credits (subject to accreditation) to support their professional development.

As part of the partnership, MIMS will also be exhibiting at the conference. Attendees are invited to visit the stand to discover how its resources support safe and accurate prescribing.

GPonline and MIMS business director Emma Broderick said: ‘Diabetes is consistently an area where healthcare professionals seek information and guidance. We have seen a significant increase in diabetes-related articles being published and read in the last year, as well as a rise in CPD learning modules completed on MIMS Learning. We are delighted to partner with this event and help connect primary care healthcare professionals to the benefits of this conference.’
