The Ohio Department of Transportation wants to know what you think about a significant project it will be conducting.
ODOT is planning to rehabilitate the Interstate 90 corridor between the Kirtland Road Bridge overpass to the Morley Road Bridge overpass in Willoughby, Mentor, Kirtland Hills, and Concord Township, The News-Herald’s Chad Felton reported.
Officials have encouraged public comments regarding the project. The $98 million project is sponsored and funded by ODOT.
According to the department, the project involves a complete pavement replacement over a six-mile stretch, which includes the ramps for state Route 306 and state Route 615, as well as the ramps at the Concord and Lake rest areas.
Additionally, the project aims to enhance bridge vertical clearance, rehabilitate six overpass bridges, construct new drainage systems, install new signage and pavement markings, and upgrade the lighting at the interchanges of Routes 306 and 615.
No rights-of-way need to be acquired for the project, which is scheduled to begin in 2027 and be completed in 2032.
