Chevrolet Celebrates America’s Birthday With Special Stars and Stripes Graphics

In 2026, the United States will officially be 250 years young. It’s certainly a momentous occasion in our relatively young nation’s history. You can expect flag-waving from lots of folks—but also from “the brands.” Chevrolet is eager to throw its hat in the ring before you even toss out that 2025 calendar.

Chevy calls it the ‘Stars & Steel Collection,’ and the automaker describes vehicles receiving this treatment as the embodiment of “purpose-driven patriotism and American craftsmanship.” Five different models get the ‘Murica treatment.

This move makes sense for Chevrolet, really, as the automaker states that nearly 87 percent of Americans live within a Chevrolet dealership. And those near a Morgan dealership enjoy ruining the tea deliveries.

The big news here, though, is that Chevrolet plans to donate $250 per Stars & Steel vehicle sold to nonprofits that support the veteran community. And you don’t need to buy a Corvette ZR1X to participate—but you could.

This collection will make its debut at the Army-Navy game on Saturday, December 13. One of the highlight vehicles of the collection is a one-of-one 2026 Corvette ZR1X. Chevrolet plans to auction off this particular Vette at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction in January. Every dollar of the hammer price will be donated to Tunnel to Towers, a nonprofit that assists the families of fallen first responders and injured veterans.

In total, Chevrolet will build just 250 Stars & Steel Corvettes. You can spec the styling on anything from a Stingray on up to the ZR1X, as long as it’s a 3LT or 3LZ trim. The cars come with a choice of Arctic White over Santorini Blue or Black over Adrenaline Red.

There’s a full-length American Flag-inspired stripe graphic as well as a flag with 250 emblazoned on it. Each car gets its own build number, the exhaust tips are blacked out, and there’s red trim and stitching throughout the cabin.

Truck fans can get in on the fun, too. Chevrolet has a Stars & Steel Edition available on the Silverado, Silverado HD, and Silverado EV. Buyers can spec either Summit White or Black over a Jet Black interior on the gas and diesel-drinking pickups. Electric truck shoppers have the same exterior color palette but with Sky Cool Gray on the inside.

The Silverado EV wears 24.0-inch black wheels, the light-duty gets 22.0-inch rollers, and the big-dog diesel features 20.0-inch wheels. All three also feature American Flag-inspired graphics.

Finally, Chevrolet will also offer the Colorado with a Stars & Steel Special Edition. On the Trail Boss Crew Cab, Chevrolet delivers the same exterior color pattern as the other trucks, as well as the graphics package. Colorado buyers also get a Sport Bar with the Light bar, the skid plate package, and a few other nice-to-haves like a spray-on bedliner, the technology package, and a soft bed cover.

There’s no word yet on pricing for any vehicles in the collection. Chevrolet says it will share that info in the near future, and production is expected to begin in early spring of 2026. We assume that means you can have your Stars & Steel mobile before the Fourth of July celebrations kick off.
