November was a month brimming with excitement, community spirit, and festive cheer at West Farm Care Centre. With back-to-back events, residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate, support worthy causes, and enjoy the magic of the upcoming season.
On Friday, November 14th, staff swapped their uniforms for playful costumes to raise money for Children in Need. Donation buckets were passed around to visitors and staff, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter as residents delighted in seeing staff dressed in bright wigs, quirky outfits, and cheerful accessories. The day was not only fun but also meaningful, as everyone contributed to a cause that supports children across the UK. It was a wonderful reminder of how small acts of kindness can ripple out to make a big difference.
Residents were treated to live music from the swinging 60s, which brought back fond memories and had many tapping their feet or singing along. The nostalgic tunes created a lively atmosphere, sparking conversations about favourite songs and cherished moments from years gone by. Music has a special way of connecting people, and this performance added an extra layer of joy to the day.
