MIMS Learning Live North in Liverpool is a clinical learning event taking place in the Spine Building – a unique meeting space with fantastic areas for sessions and networking, along with panoramic views.
Each of our three event streams will reflect the variety of general practice, offering a mixture of sessions on diverse topics.
New session formats
Each stream will start with a ‘fireside chat’ where GPs discuss current clinical challenges and/or cases in three key areas with other GP colleagues. These sessions involve:
- Dr Stephanie Gallard, dermatology GP, and Dr Ahsan Raza, discussing dermatology cases
- Dr Olivia Hum and Dr Lindsey Thomas, discussing key questions on menopause
- Professor Raj Thakkar, discussing cardio-renal-metabolic medicine with a GP colleague
After that, each stream will offer key learning points on a range of key topics including migraine, childhood disease, cancer diagnosis, ophthalmology and more.
New GP Business hub
New this year: the GP Business Hub will offer exclusive sessions in collaboration with GP Business. These sessions for GP partners and practice managers will help you navigate change, improve efficiency and stay ahead in a rapidly-evolving healthcare landscape.
