Remove old items from Apple Wallet

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Apple Wallet is a convenient way to store boarding passes, event tickets, payment cards, and more. But over time, it can get cluttered with expired or unused items. This guide walks you through how to remove them – manually or in bulk – on iPhone and Apple Watch.

Remove Active Passes

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the pass or ticket you want to remove.
  3. Tap the three-dot icon (•••) in the top-right corner.
  4. Tap Pass Details.
  5. Select Remove Pass, then confirm.

Delete Expired Passes

Apple Wallet automatically hides expired passes, but you can manually delete them:

  1. Open the Wallet app.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap View Expired Passes.
  3. Tap a pass to view its details.
  4. Tap Delete to remove it permanently.
  5. Or tap Edit to bulk-select and delete multiple passes.

Remove Payment Cards

  1. Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  2. Tap the card you want to remove.
  3. Scroll down and tap Remove This Card.

This will also remove the card from Apple Pay and synced devices.

FAQ

Can I delete multiple expired passes at once?

Yes. Tap Edit in the Expired Passes section and select multiple items to delete.

Why do some expired passes still show up?

Some passes don’t auto-hide. You’ll need to manually delete them from the Wallet app.
