Dublin company gets global reach after acquisition

CarTrawler, the leading B2B technology provider of car rental, ground transport and Insurtech solutions to the global travel industry, has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Expedia Group, the global travel marketplace. Financial terms were not revealed.
CarTrawler, founded and headquartered in Dublin, is powered by its Connect Platform, connecting upwards of 550 car rental suppliers and more than 500 mobility providers with approximately 300 travel brands worldwide.

The deal is subject to approval and is expected to close by the end of this year.
