Krafted has unveiled its latest innovation, the Edge power bank—a thoughtfully engineered device that blends ultra-slim design with a modular battery system, aiming to rethink how we power laptops on the move.

Designed to sit discreetly beneath your laptop, the Edge measures just 8.5mm at its thinnest point (12.88mm at its thickest), making it a far cry from the bulky “brick” chargers many users are used to carrying. Despite its slim profile, it packs serious capacity, offering enough power to recharge a laptop up to four times—all while remaining portable enough to slip into a standard sleeve or backpack.

At the heart of the Edge is a focus on sustainability. Rather than following the typical sealed-unit approach seen in most power banks, Krafted has introduced a modular battery cassette system. This allows users to replace only the internal cells once they degrade over time, extending the lifespan of the device and reducing electronic waste. It’s a clear nod towards more responsible consumer tech design in a category that often leans disposable.
Built for Power and Portability
The Edge doesn’t just prioritise form—it delivers on performance too. Its 20,000mAh capacity, split across four 5,000mAh cells, ensures ample energy for multiple devices. Whether you’re topping up a laptop, smartphone, or tablet, the Edge is built to handle it all.

With up to 65W USB-C output, it’s capable of properly powering a laptop rather than merely trickle-charging it, making it a viable solution for working on the go. It also supports multi-device charging, thanks to a second USB-C port and two USB-A ports, allowing you to charge several gadgets simultaneously without compromise.

Recharging the power bank itself is equally efficient, taking around two hours to reach full capacity—impressive given its size and output capabilities.
Premium Materials, Smart Design
Krafted has paired its technical ambitions with premium build quality. The Edge features a robust aluminium alloy 7075 chassis, complemented by a top panel made from OBP-certified ocean plastic, reinforcing its eco-conscious credentials.
There’s also attention to detail in everyday usability. A built-in braided cable eliminates the need to carry extras, while a magnetic metal connector and plant-based faux-leather tag add a refined touch to the overall design.
Kickstarter Launch and Pricing

The Krafted Edge is launching via Kickstarter, offering early adopters a chance to secure the device at a discounted rate. Early-backer pricing starts at £103 ($139), with a planned retail price of £118 ($159) once the campaign concludes.
With its blend of portability, performance, and sustainability, the Edge positions itself as a compelling alternative to traditional laptop power solutions—particularly for users looking to reduce clutter and cut down on e-waste without sacrificing capability.
