Lenovo announced the ThinkPad 16-inch Click-Go Backpack (Aura Edition) at CES 2026 as part of its new ThinkPad accessory lineup. The laptop bag swaps the main zipper for a one-handed magnetic closure with a Fidlock fastener, targeting commuters and travelers who want quick access to a 16-inch laptop and everyday carry essentials without the two-handed zipper pull.
Price: $129.99
Where to Buy: Lenovo
The Click-Go carries the part number 4X41V20931 and sits within Lenovo’s ThinkPad accessory lineup. It pairs the new closure system with 18 liters of storage, a dedicated tablet compartment, 12 internal pockets, and an RPET outer shell, all wrapped in the dual-tone Aura Edition color palette.
The Click-Go is part of a broader ThinkPad refresh Lenovo unveiled at CES 2026. The company announced the backpack alongside a new ThinkPad Bluetooth Presenter Mouse, a ThinkPad Dual-Mode Wireless ANC Foldable Headset 8550 with Teams certification, and a slate of updated ThinkPad and ThinkBook laptops. The accessory additions sit alongside Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Series updates for the year, which the company pitched at CES as the next benchmark in its business notebook lineup.

One-Handed Access, by Design
The Click-Go name points to the main compartment closure. Pressing the Fidlock fastener disengages the magnet and swings the top flap open, a motion Lenovo says can be done one-handed while the backpack is still on the shoulder. Closing the flap reverses the motion, with the magnet pulling the lid back toward the body of the bag and the fastener re-seating.
Lenovo is positioning the system as a direct alternative to zipper-top laptop backpacks, with the Fidlock fastener handling the security role a conventional zipper pull would. The company has used Fidlock magnetic locks on other bags in its catalog, including designs in the Legion gaming line that market similar one-handed opening behavior.
Organization Built for ThinkPad Gear
Inside, the Click-Go carries a padded compartment sized for a 16-inch laptop, a standalone tablet sleeve, and 12 smaller organizational pockets. Lenovo has not published exact internal dimensions beyond the 18-liter total volume, but the compartment layout keeps a laptop, a tablet, and daily accessories separated rather than pooled in a single bucket.
Pass-through cable slots are routed into the laptop compartment and out to external ports, letting the user charge a device or run an accessory cable without unlatching the main flap. A side-mounted security pocket on the bag’s flank separates smaller items from the main compartment and can be reached without opening the top.
Aura Edition Styling and Recycled Materials
The backpack wears the ThinkPad Aura Edition color treatment, a two-tone finish applied across the exterior panels. Aura Edition is a naming convention Lenovo has also applied to recent ThinkPad laptops such as the X9 Gen 1 and X1 Carbon 13th Gen, and the Click-Go extends that design identity into Lenovo’s ThinkPad accessory range.
The structure uses molded EVA panels and a reinforced build, according to Lenovo, while the outer shell is made from RPET, a recycled polyester commonly sourced from post-consumer plastic waste. Lenovo positions the material choice as part of a push for more sustainable accessory construction without compromising durability, a direction the company has also applied to the RPET exteriors on its ThinkPad Professional bag line.
Travel-Friendly Extras
On the outside, magnetic attachment points on the side panel hold a water bottle or similar compact item, with the holders flattening against the bag when nothing is attached so they don’t snag or catch in transit. A rear pass-through strap fits over a rolling suitcase handle, letting the bag travel on top of wheeled luggage during airport or hotel transfers.
Capacity and Positioning
The Click-Go offers 18 liters of storage, a capacity Lenovo positions for everyday commuting with a 16-inch laptop, a tablet, and daily essentials. Eighteen liters is on the compact end of the full-size laptop backpack category, sized to hold a business laptop, charger, and a day’s accessories without pushing into larger travel-pack territory. The feature set, including the pass-through luggage strap and Fidlock closure, is aimed at commuters and frequent travelers who move between home, office, and transit.
Pricing and Availability
Lenovo lists the ThinkPad 16-inch Click-Go Backpack (Aura Edition) under part number 4X41V20931 on its US accessories site, where it is now available to buy for $129.99. Lenovo originally flagged a March 2026 availability window at CES; the backpack is now on sale directly through Lenovo’s US store. European retailers carry the bag at around €88.00 MSRP through distribution partners.
Bottom Line
The Click-Go is Lenovo’s push to rethink how a ThinkPad laptop bag opens. By replacing the main zipper with a Fidlock-secured magnetic flap, Lenovo is applying a one-handed closure system to its ThinkPad laptop backpack line. Paired with 18 liters of organization, an RPET outer shell, and the dual-tone Aura Edition palette, the Click-Go positions itself as Lenovo’s next-generation take on the daily ThinkPad carry.
