Tissot and Pinarello have teamed up for the first time, combining over 170 years of Swiss watchmaking with the Italian cycling brand’s racing pedigree. The result is the Tissot Pinarello Special Edition, a 42mm (43mm across) forged carbon cycling watch priced at $1,775.

Pinarello, founded in 1952 in Treviso, Italy, is behind some of the most recognized race bikes in professional cycling. The brand’s frames have carried riders to multiple Tour de France victories, and the company is known for pushing lightweight materials, aerodynamic geometry, and performance engineering to the limit. Tissot, meanwhile, has a long-standing connection to the cycling world as an official timekeeper for major international races, including the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España.
The collaboration goes beyond the watch itself. Pinarello has also created a limited-edition Dogma F bike in a matching Tissot-branded colorway, with only 101 units available as part of an exclusive bike-and-watch collector’s set. The watch is also available to purchase separately.

Forged Carbon Case with Cycling DNA
The 42mm case is made from forged carbon, the same lightweight, high-strength material Pinarello uses in its racing bike frames. Forged carbon is generally known for producing a marbled, textured pattern that varies from piece to piece, giving each case a slightly different look. The case measures 12.15mm thick and weighs 74 grams.
The case has an asymmetric shape that Tissot says is inspired by the Pinarello fork. The crown sits at 10 o’clock rather than the standard 3 o’clock position, and it is protected by a guard styled after Pinarello’s ForkFlap — a small aerodynamic fin found on the front fork of the brand’s top-tier bikes. From 3 to 9 o’clock, the case measures 43.14mm wide; from 6 to 12 o’clock, it measures 40mm.
The watch features a box-shaped sapphire crystal with double antireflective coating, which Tissot says adds a sense of depth to the dial. A see-through caseback provides a view of the movement, and the case is rated to 100 meters of water resistance.
Grey Dial with Pinarello Touches
The grey dial has a grained texture with an asphalt-like finish. Black-nickeled baton indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility, and the hands have grooved, faceted surfaces designed to catch light at different angles.
Pinarello branding on the watch is kept discreet. The Italian brand’s name is engraved on the case flank and caseback rather than printed on the dial. The most visible Pinarello detail is the second hand, which is shaped like the brand’s signature “P” and finished in Borealis blue — a color closely tied to the cycling brand’s identity.
COSC-Certified Powermatic 80 Movement
The watch runs on Tissot’s Powermatic 80 automatic movement (caliber C07.611), which is COSC-certified — meaning it has been independently tested for accuracy by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, the official Swiss chronometer testing body. The movement offers up to 80 hours of power reserve and operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
Tissot equipped the movement with a Nivachron balance spring, a titanium-based alloy that the brand says is far more resistant to magnetic fields and temperature variations than standard balance springs. The movement tracks hours, minutes, seconds, and the date, and includes a stop-second mechanism for precise time setting.
Dual-Strap Collector’s Box
The Tissot x Pinarello Special Edition ships in an exclusive collector’s box with two interchangeable straps and a quick-release system that requires no tools. One is a textured rubber strap designed for active use and sweat resistance, and the other is a handcrafted Italian leather strap for everyday wear. The outer sleeve of the box features Pinarello’s original design sketches.
