The Prathishta Varshika Mahotsavam 2026 will be conducted from 15 March to 24 March 2026 (Meenam 1 to 10 – Malayalam Calendar 1201) with various tantric rituals, poojas, cultural programs, and devotional offerings. The festival is held with strict adherence to temple traditions under the guidance of Brahmasree Parameswaran Vinayakan Namboothiri (Vettikkottu Meppally Illam), with temple Shanthi Sri Suneesh S.
The festival begins with Kappukettu Vratham, Thottampattu, and Devi Bhagavatha Parayanam, followed by daily poojas, annadanam, devotional songs, and classical dance programs. Devotees gather in large numbers to participate in the rituals seeking blessings of Goddess Bhadrakali for protection, prosperity, and good health.

The annual festival at Varavila Sree Bhadrakali Temple is considered highly auspicious, and devotees from Klappana, Kunnathur, Karunagappally, and nearby regions attend every year with great devotion.
