Bristol-headquartered education software group Tribal says it is well positioned to benefit from growing demand for AI-driven solutions and stronger cyber security across the higher education sector.

With over 90% of UK universities experiencing cyber attacks in the past year, institutions are increasingly turning to trusted, cloud-based platforms to modernise systems securely and efficiently.

The update comes as Tribal reports strong financial performance and continues its shift towards a fully cloud-enabled, recurring revenue model, positioning the business for sustained growth.

Multibillion-dollar aviation and defence company Archer has chosen Bristol as its UK headquarters, strengthening the city’s position as a centre for advanced aerospace and engineering.

The firm, which develops electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, will use the site to support next-generation engineering across both commercial and defence programmes, with recruitment already underway.

Archer cited Bristol’s strong aerospace heritage and deep engineering talent pool as key factors in its decision, with the new hub set to collaborate with partners including GKN Aerospace and Anduril UK.

Proptech company Giraffe360 has raised £7.5m in Series B funding to accelerate the development of its AI-driven platform for real estate marketing.

The company combines proprietary camera hardware with AI software to create virtual property tours, 3D floor plans and automated marketing content, supporting the shift towards more immersive, digital-first property experiences.

The round was led by Cipio Partners, with participation from Founders Fund and Hoxton Ventures, as the company looks to scale its technology and expand its global reach.
