Daily ezhunnallippu accompanied by traditional percussion ensembles and rhythmic talam performances forms an integral part of the celebrations. Devotees participate with deep reverence as the procession moves through the temple surroundings and returns to the sanctum, reinforcing communal harmony and devotion. Cultural programmes such as kaikottikkali, thiruvathirakali, and other ritual dances add colour and artistic richness to the evenings.

The Prathishta Dinam  is observed with special poojas, offerings, and spiritual observances conducted strictly according to temple customs. Important rituals during the festival include Vighnanivaarana Homam, Navakalasa Abhishekam, and elaborate deeparadhana, all aimed at removing obstacles and invoking divine grace for devotees.

As the festival reaches its peak, Thaippooyam day is celebrated with profound devotion. The grand Aarattu Mahotsavam marks the ceremonial culmination, accompanied by special processions, kazhcha sreebali, prasad distribution, and the kodiyirakkam  followed by mangala pooja. Offerings such as Mangalyathala Samarpanam and Swarna Vel Samarpanam are made by devotees seeking blessings for prosperity and fulfilment of wishes.
