Thiruvathira Thiruvutsavam 2025 is an annual sacred festival celebrated at the Mariyappalli Sree Mahadeva–Maha Vishnu Temple in Kottayam with deep devotion and traditional rituals. The festival honors both Lord Shiva (Mahadeva) and Lord Maha Vishnu and takes place during the special Thiruvathira star period, which is spiritually connected with Lord Shiva. Devotees gather in large numbers to take part in age-old rites, poojas, ceremonial worship (abhishekam), cultural programs, and traditional offerings throughout the festival.
