A new hormone journal and menstrual companion empowering women to live in sync with their natural rhythm.

Born from lived experiences of debilitating period pain, mood fluctuations and the limitations of fertility-focused tracking apps, Melody launches its UK Beta today. The Bristol-based startup introduces a whole-cycle approach to menstrual wellbeing, helping women understand their unique hormonal patterns and live more intuitively through personalised insights, education and daily tune-ins.

Hormonal changes influence mood, energy, motivation and focus throughout the month, creating distinct phases that function like inner seasons. When women work with these patterns rather than against them, life feels easier, productivity feels more natural and rest becomes a necessary part of the rhythm.

Melody aims to make menstrual cycle awareness mainstream, empowering users from menarche through menopause with science-backed content and personalised tracking. With 90% of women experiencing PMS, one in five missing work due to symptoms and the NHS struggling to offer preventative cycle-aware support, Melody fills a critical gap highlighted by the Women’s Health Strategy for England.

The app offers customisable daily check-ins, whole-cycle insights, a predictive seasonal calendar, science-based lifestyle guidance and practitioner-ready reports, all private, secure and ad-free.

“Menstrual Cycle Awareness has transformed my life,” says Founder Jade Wakes. “I built Melody so every woman and person with a cycle can experience that same clarity, connection and empowerment.”

Melody Beta is now available on iOS and Android, with a full launch planned for March 2026.

Try free for one month during Beta phase. Pricing: Monthly subscription (£4.99), Annual subscription (£29.99).
