Four new incubators have launched across Greater Bristol to supercharge founders in music, creative tech, social enterprise and space.
Highlights include Noods Levels’ SCALE incubator for grassroots music businesses, a Create Growth accelerator in Bath, a new Social Economy West programme, and Bristol Spaceworks, a hyper-local desk-based incubator in BS5. Bristol startup PEEQUAL has raised £925,000 to take its women’s urinals global, with events in Europe, the US and Australia next in line.
The flatpack, patent-pending design is 2.7x faster to use than standard portable toilets and can be stacked to reduce transport emissions. After appearing at Glastonbury, the London Marathon and 25 events this year alone, demand from organisers worldwide is accelerating their growth.

The British Business Bank’s South West Investment Fund has hit a major milestone, driving nearly £100 million into startups and scaleups across the region since launching in 2023.
So far, the fund has delivered £51.8M in direct investment and leveraged £48.1M in private capital across 218 deals, supporting 203 businesses. The latest: a £1.275M boost for award-winning legal tech firm Eden Conveyancing.
